WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Downtown Wilmington will be alive with runners and walkers for the 2015 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
The annual event combines a competitive 5K run with a 1 mile fun run/walk and events for the whole family.
The Susan G. Komen North Carolina Triangle to the Coast Foundation provides funding for breast health services, breast cancer education and outreach in a 29-county region.
Festivities and events begin at 8:30 a.m. at 2nd and Market Streets.
